As both CEBS & GFS had their beginnings in this Diocese over 70 years ago there is a large group of people who can say that I was once in CEBS or GFS.  Many of these folk have kept in touch with the Ministries of CEBS & GFS over the years through their parishes, children and grandchildren or by just reading reports of the activities of the societies in the Gippsland Anglican and local papers.

As well as keeping an interest in the activities of the organisations this group has often been responsible for assisting at various Diocesan Family Days and in the important work of keeping the ministry supported through prayer.

In recent years this group has met as "The Adult Friends of CEBS & GFS" to share in fellowship with each other.  A coordinator has been appointed and the list of those interested in being invited to the various activities is continually growing.   The group also now includes those who were never members but just wish to be part of the support and fellowship network.
