Youth Ministry

In many places in today's society there is a division in age groups and the programs provided for them.  In a number of churches "Youth Programs" are seen as something exclusive and separated from other ministries.  While every age group has its own particular needs that are required to be met and appropriate programs / activities need to be provided to do this we believe that it is also important to provide the intergenerational links.  For this reason the "Kids Plus+" Network doesn't just rely on children's ministry but looks at the continuum from childhood to adulthood.  Therefore our connection with the "Youth Movement" is just as an important a part of our ministry as any other.  Some "Kids Plus+" groups highlight this connection by naming their Youth Activities "Youth Plus+", but whatever they are called they are still important to us.

Our Network provides activities for our Youth such as our Annual Theatre Sports activity.  We also encourage our Youth to participate in Leadership Development and where possible to assist in the responsibility of leadership with the children's programs.
