We are always seeking new artists to exhibit at Vanguard Gallery or submit works for our catalogue/ stock room
We offer two options for exhibiting at Vanguard Gallery and the stock room contains works on consignment at 25% sales commission only
Gallery fees 2007
Exhibition duration: minimum 2 weeks, maximum 6 weeks.

Option #1
Exhibition fee includes full gallery services:
Curatorial services & full time gallery staff
Art Almanac exhibition listing.
Online website listing, including images
Media Release distribution by post and email
Gallery invitation list by post and email
Graphic design services for invitations and advertising if required
Photography, digital scanning and adjustments.
Gallery catalogue and labels.
Public Liability Insurance (does not include sub-contractors)
Artists are responsible for:
Printing and postage expenses.
Delivery and collection of unsold artwork
Catering for the opening night if required
Insurance of individual artworks if required.
Artists are encouraged to sit the gallery on Saturdays and meet with the public (not compulsory)
We can recommend local catering services to accommodate most cuisines and dietary requirements
Option #2
Exhibition fee includes:
Art Almanac exhibition listing
two exhibition rooms and reception area, approx' 60 sqr meters
use of gallery picture hanging equipment and lighting
Online website listing, including images
Distribution of 'media release' to gallery media email list
Distribution of exhibition invitations to gallery email list
Public Liability Insurance (does not include sub-contractors)
Artists are responsible for most aspects of organising and running the exhibition:
Installation and dismantling of exhibition
Staffing gallery / sitting exhibition
All sales, invoices and enquiries
Delivery and collection of artwork
Delivery of sold works
Catering for the opening night if required
Insurance of individual artworks if required
all ancillary costs associated with advertising or publicising and running the exhibition
Artists are welcome to open the gallery on Sundays if desired
Security bond applies = $200 refundable upon return of keys and gallery to pre exhibition condition
Optional additional expenses:
Postage stamps for media release and mailing list, approx $90
Printing costs vary depending on your requirements, we offer a couple of
options for offset or
digital printing services.
We can design and arrange digital printing x 500, A6 cards, CMYK front, B&W back, 300gsm = $250
or the same
specifications for offset printing x 1000 = $350.
Vanguard Gallery is not licensed, you may offer wine or drink tasting
but you may not sell alcohol here.
Sponsorship is a great way to reduce your costs, expand your mailing list and work with the local community.
Many artists are able to arrange sponsorship for the supply of
drink/wine tasting for the opening or costs of exhibiting such as flyers.
We can offer sponsors a website listing with logo and web link to their
business
We can use their logo on all exhibition promotional material, including
mailing list approx 800 plus media release.
We can place sponsors promo cards etc in the gallery for the duration of
the exhibition
