Ramsgate Community Church is comprised of 3 unique congregations meeting in the same building:
- The Traditional (Uniting Church) Congregation - meets 9.30am Sundays, Main Auditorium.
- Niuen (Polynesian) fellowship - meets 11.00am Sundays, Main Auditorium.
- Healing Community (contemporary/family service) - meets 10.30am Sundays in the Hall.

Worship
We’re into worshipping Jesus with the freedom and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
"Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification" 1 Cor 14:26
We have an emphasis on healing, on waiting for the Holy Spirit and on Bible teaching which empowers Christians with Spirit and truth to face the daily grind. At the same time we offer a kids ministry and high school youth group.
Mid week activities
Midweek we offer Connect Groups which meet in homes on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Womens’ get togethers are arranged monthly. (Contact Ruth 0425 225 387)
Mens’ activities are on a bi-monthly basis. (Contact Dave on 0417 404 476)
Dancing Lessons and Friday night fun is arranged by Mel.

Ministry of Healing
We are developing a holistic ministry of healing, recognising the integration of body, soul and spirit. Thus we are preparing to open Healing Rooms to focus on praying for the sick. |
We offer prayer ministry for folk who are troubled in spirit or soul. And we offer the services of a clinical Psychologist for those needing counselling. Small groups to support people struggling with, or facing their partner’s sexual brokenness or addictions, are also available.

What is Resting Prayer?
Jesus says, “Ask and you will receive” In prayer we do plenty of asking. To receive from God is a different thing altogether. It blesses Him when we quieten our souls and set them towards Him alone, letting Him pour
His words of grace and love, blessing of peace and gifts of healing into our souls.
The bustle of city life often deprives us of time just to BE in the Lord’s presence. Our Christian lives can be so busy serving, or praying to ask, that we don’t take time to quieten our soul to attend to the Lord we serve and ask!
 Often in our brokenness or addictions we don’t give Jesus time to work His healing and freedom into our souls. Soaking, or resting before the Lord, is to take prayerful time to let the Lord speak to, and work in us.
As He does we will be changed, refreshed, re-energised for the demands of life. We will encounter more of the Lord’s liberty and we will see Him at work changing us and the world around us! Join us and encounter a new dimension of prayer. Come, rest in Him!
