David Gibb has had a successful career spanning more than 35 years as a writer-producer in the South Australian media and advertising industries. He retired in 2004 after running his own creative writing business for 12 years and is now embracing the joys of writing short fiction and indulging his life-long passion for all things aviation. David has an abiding interest in the literature of the Second World War, in particular the personal experiences of veterans of that conflict. His first book, One Common Enemy - The Laconia Incident, A Survivor’s Memoir (with Jim McLoughlin), published in 2006 by Wakefield Press, has been widely reviewed in Australia and Britain.
