Jonathan Elsom began writing fiction in 2003, and has since won a number of awards for his short stories and poetry, which have also been published in the US.

New Zealand born, Jonathan is an established actor and theatre director who enjoyed a successful 40 year UK career in theatre, television and films prior to settling in Sydney in 1999. A familiar face on British television in such series as To the Manor Born, Rising Damp, Minder,The Avengers, etc., and in leading roles in numerous West End productions. He has appeared regularly in such Australian TV series as All Saints for Channel 7 and Backberner for the ABC. Theatre includes roles for the Sydney Theatre Company, the Belvoir, and the Griffin Theatre.
