Keith is a retired civil engineer from Alexandra. He attended a writing course at the Continuing Education & Arts Centre of Alexandra, and some of the pupils and the tutor enjoyed themselves so much that afterwards they formed the Murrindindi Writers, a very loose group with no constitution, no committees, and sometimes no sense, but they all love it!
Keith is also the President of the Alexandra sub-branch of the RSL. In 1947 when Keith was nineteen, he expected to play for the Collingwood Football Club. His story "Everyone Knows Me" is about that experience. Keith has had some other success with stories about his experiences in WWII and bush stories, and has written stories about his cab driver days in Collingwood. Another of his football stories, "Not 9/11 but 27/11 and Almost as Bad", was short listed in our 2004 competition. Keith is pictured here on Anzac Day with his wife Joyce (the Redhead in "Everyone Knows Me"!).
